Before I took classes with Sir Robert Stormowski, I had many issues with my violin and how I played it. But during the first several months of taking his classes, he not only corrected my violin technique, but he also improved my playing a lot, and inspired me to be more diligent with my practicing. Under his guidance I was able to earn a distinction in my ABRSM Grade 3 Violin Performance exam. Sir Robert is also the conductor of UIC Ignacian String Orchestra which I had joined in February 2024 and had an opportunity to perform at UIC College of Music Annual Concert two months later. Overall, Sir Robert Stormowski is an excellent teacher and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning violin.
